From landing to take off at Paro, the guides took care of my safety & well being. Besides learning all about Bhutan from guide Kinley, I have to commend the driver Tobden, who was equally knowledgeable about Bhutan’s history and other world events. He was also very warm and aware of any discomfort from motion sickness by driving slowly around bends & making stops for me to get air. They accommodated my pace in trekking & climbing & were concerned with my wellbeing and safety. The hotels, meals & service were of a good standard. Thank you DrukAsia.

Great experience!

Really impressed with how well this was planned out. Appreciate Sanjay Dorji for quick and timely responses and excellent customer service. Had a wonderful time with my guide Choki Wangmo and driver Namge. They made sure I felt comfortable, they were very thoughtful and very pleasant. Unfortunately my final day the Tiger's Nest was closed due to safety concerns from days of rain and I was so disappointed but Namge invited us to his home for dinner and I was able to experience a home cooked Bhutan meal with local family, something I never would have experienced otherwise. This was such a treat. I was so thankful their hospitality and for Choki arranging a safe travels cake, she is really amazing. I will definitely use Druk Asia again when I come back a second time for the Tiger's Nest hike. All of the sites and itinerary were perfect and exactly what I wanted. Hotels were all great. Rema Resort's owner is great and prioritizes customer service. Thank you all so much and will reach out when I am ready to return!

Bhutan Wrapped Me in the Warmest Hug

Bhutan gave me the biggest, warmest hug I never knew I needed. 🧡 From the moment I arrived, I felt wrapped in kindness. Every second was pure magic: our guides, who felt more like dear friends than hosts, the delicious food made with so much love, the cozy, beautiful hotels, and how effortlessly everything flowed. And the culture and the people, whose warmth and gentle spirit I will carry in my heart forever. I am completely in awe. I've been lucky enough to travel to some incredible places, but I have never experienced a country as truly special as this one. To everyone in Bhutan: thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Please protect this treasure of yours. There is nowhere else in the world like it. Bhutan is a gem, and the world is so much brighter because of it. 🌈✨ I left with a full heart and I already can't wait to come back. 💛Everything. The entire trip was fabulous.

Amazing time

It was a deeply meaningful trip for our family. Bhutan has been on our “bucket list” and we wanted to share this experience with our 10 year old son. Sonam was exceptional in his patience and flexibility when helping us plan and execute our trip. Upon arrival, Lhendrup (Guide) was deeply knowledgeable and was always on hand to help us, none more evident that the tricky descent from Taktsang (Tigers Nest) with our son, he was literally hanging on to our son on the slippery descent. Leki is an amazingly safe driver, windy and tricky roads were gently circumnavigated around. All in all, we had a great time, shame it wasn’t longer. Highly recommended.

Great experience, highly recommended. Druk Asia is super serious, they are competent and attentive, we had a great trip, thanks to Sonam (who organised the trip for us and gave us very good suggestions) and to our amazing guide, Ugyen, and to our great driver, Thinley. We spent 2 weeks in Bhutan and we loved it, Ugyen made our experience particularly interesting, and we spent very good time with him and Thinley. I will use Druk Asia certainly again

A memorable Bhutan journey made special by its people

Almost a decade ago, I emailed Druk Asia to enquire about a trip to Bhutan, but work commitments meant the trip never materialised. In March 2026, I revisited the idea, this time with no work schedule holding me back. Six months later, my friend and I finally made the trip and returned with some of our best travel memories to date. From the very beginning, Sonam was incredibly responsive and patient in addressing my many questions, from travelling at high altitudes (a first for me) to food preferences and itinerary adjustments. The level of care and attention gave me the confidence to proceed with the booking, and I am glad I did! Two out of the three accommodations exceeded our expectations, offering a homely experience and a glimpse into genuine Bhutanese hospitality. The meals were delicious, with a thoughtful mix of local and international cuisines catered to our dietary preferences. The warmth of the housekeepers at our stays in Paro and Punakha was especially memorable. I actually missed them dearly after returning home! Our guide, Choki, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, while our driver, Thuji, took care of us as though we were old friends. I believe it was their encouragement and support that made our five-hour trek to and from Tiger’s Nest Monastery possible! The winding mountain roads between cities were particularly challenging for me due to motion sickness. Thuji went out of his way to make multiple stops, drive at a gentler pace and even source local motion sickness medication when the medication I brought along was not working well. His thoughtfulness made the subsequent road journeys so much more bearable. This level of care truly went beyond what I had expected. Choki also demonstrated the highest standard of guiding throughout the trip. He patiently answered our many questions about the iconic landmarks and important aspects of Bhutanese culture and history. His responsiveness on WhatsApp, both before and during the trip, was another reassurance that we were well taken care of. Ultimately, it was Sonam, Choki and Thuji who made this journey so enjoyable and memorable. Their professionalism, genuine warmth and personal touch made us feel less like tourists and more like friends visiting Bhutan. Thank you, Druk Asia, for making a long-awaited dream trip such a meaningful experience. I left Bhutan with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation of its people and culture, and the hope of returning one day. Until then, Kadrinche la! ❤️

Bhutan: an Amazing journey

I had an amazing experience with this provider from start to finish. The whole process was very smooth, from planning and customizing my itinerary to making the payment and organizing all the details of the trip. As a solo female traveler visiting Bhutan for the first time, I felt that I couldn’t have made a better decision than choosing them. My guide and driver were both wonderful, professional, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I felt very well taken care of throughout the trip, while still having the freedom to enjoy Bhutan at my own pace. Overall, I had an incredible time in Bhutan and would absolutely recommend this provider to anyone planning a trip there, especially solo travelers.

An unforgettable and Truly Enriching Journey Through Bhutan

The entire journey (from 26-30 Aug 2026) was organized by DrukAsia Mr Sangay, started from my very first inquiry through the planning, visa arrangement, flight ticket and itinerary, everything was handled seamlessly and thoughtfully. The communication was smooth and clear throughout the whole process. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated the flexibility of being able to travel at my own pace, without having to rush or follow a group schedule. I could simply enjoy each moment and take in Bhutan in my own way. My Bhutan guide Ms Yeshey and driver Mr Tshering were patient and attentive to my needs. They made me feel comfortable and were always happy to stop whenever I wanted to take photos or simply enjoy the scenery. The majestic mountains, breathtaking landscape, peaceful valleys and beautiful dzongs along the journey gave me so many awe-inspiring moments and left a lasting impression on my heart. What i brought home from Bhutan was much more than photographs and souvenirs, I came back with renewed energy, a peaceful heart and a feeling of being truly recharged. I sincerely hope to return to Bhutan one day and explore other beautiful places. Until then, I will carry the memories and special moments in my heart.

During my tour, I explored Paro and Thimphu, visited the magnificent Buddha Dordenma, saw the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery against the cliffs, experienced traditional Bhutanese food and archery, and stopped at the beautiful confluence of the rivers. My guide brought each destination to life by explaining Bhutan’s history, traditions, spirituality and unique approach to preserving its culture and environment. My tour guide was knowledgeable, patient and genuinely passionate about his country. He answered every question, adjusted the itinerary to my interests and made me feel completely welcomed. My driver was equally exceptional—professional, punctual and extraordinarily skilled at navigating Bhutan’s winding mountain roads. I always felt comfortable and safe, and both gentlemen treated me with remarkable kindness and hospitality. Went to Bhutan alone, came home with a friend in Paro

I just got back from eight days solo in Bhutan and I still think about it most days. I've always travelled with someone before, my family, friends, my girlfriend. This time I wanted to do it alone, and Bhutan felt like the place to try that. It's right next to India, and yet nothing like anywhere I'd been. I found Druk Asia through Instagram and booked their 8D7N package. They took care of the visa, the sustainable development fee, flights, hotels, guide, driver and meals. I landed with nothing left to figure out. Paro airport alone was worth the trip. I was taking photos of it before I'd even gotten through the terminal. Might be the most beautiful airport I've ever flown into. My guide Thinley picked me up at the airport and within a day it felt like I'd known him for years. He used to be a teacher, and you could tell. At the temple murals he'd point at something and ask me what it was. First time round I had no idea, but by day three I was actually getting things right and remembering the stories behind them. At one point he told me, "sir, I do not want you to miss anything when you go back home." I still think about that line. He's based in Paro, so on evenings we wrapped up early he'd text me, "sir, are you bored, do you want to go for a beer." One night that turned into snooker with his friends, another into a local karaoke spot. Nobody was paying him to do that. He just wanted to hang out. Some of what's stuck with me most, the hike up to Tiger's Nest monastery felt like walking with a mate, we laughed pretty much the whole way up. I met Pema at Simply Bhutan, an artist who paints holding the brush in his feet, genuinely one of the most talented people I've watched work. I tried archery, their national sport, was terrible at it, and had a great time anyway. And after a long day of walking, a traditional hot stone bath was exactly what I needed. I went end of July, monsoon season, when most people skip Bhutan entirely. Didn't matter. Everywhere we went was quiet, and I never once felt unsafe or out of place travelling on my own. If you're weighing up Bhutan for a solo trip, go. Druk Asia had everything sorted before I even landed, and Thinley is the reason the whole eight days felt like time with a friend.

The arrangement was perfect

The arrangement was perfect. We need not worry about a single thing during our trip. We were very well taken care of, by the guide Tepe and driver Lakhpa. The itinerary was well planned with a good balance of activities and relaxing time. We had some really authentic local experience too.
