I have been reading my werewolf story for weeks. Iwas reading today and after reading the required add I tried to return to the story but it was gone. I will never know what happened between Grayson and Lillian now. What the hell happened?
Meganovels click bait was “watch a few ads to finish reading the story”. You will spend easily 3x the amount of time watching ads compared to being able to actually read. The ads pop up every 2-3 pages so you get to read for a few minutes then have to pay or watch an ad. The “complete reading for just watching a few ads” is a complete lie. By chapter 75, I had watched over 90 ads. Also the ads will freeze and then you have to close out of the app and restart it. The app (of course) doesn’t recognize that you already watched an add and so then you have to watch yet another 20-30 seconds of ads to be able to read the next 2-3 pages. I finally just gave up on ever getting to read the end of the book and deleted the application. You also have the ability to pay every 2-3 pages if you want to let the application rip you off financially and pay $1 every couple of pages.
My advice: run the opposite direction. There are plenty of places to down load or
Read books that won’t rip you off or use false promises/click bait (a “few” ads) to get you to download their app.
I was reading a novel and even though I got tired of watching ads, I wasn’t willing to pay for it. Then while watching a woman with billions, it stopped letting me watch for free.
Very disappointing. The cost of coins is high and the incentive ads just not feasible. Takes about 30 min just to earn enough credits to read one chapter, then you realise the book as over 600 chapters. A huge con. Don't get sucked in, you end up spending too much just to read a few chapters, never getting to the end. Not to mention the spelling an gramatical errors.
MegaNovel is a total rip off! Folks don't pay a cent for these novels. You start reading, after a few chapters you have to pay, then another few chapters and you have to pay again and so on, and on, and on.
You can get free books or less expensive books on Amazon Kindle. Cheaper to buy a Kindle Reader on Amazon and get better books written by superior authors.
This site may be owned by the same scammers as GoodNovel. They say that *books* are free but only a few *chapters* are. It then turns into a pay for coins scheme. Between the free chapters and $15 of coins, I’m 13% of the way through a book. It would cost well over a $100 to read a book. That is madness - and I hear the writers are only given a pittance.
