Importers Beware: Hidden Fees and Cargo Withholding by Sino Shipping

Sino Shipping presents themselves as professional and responsive—until they have full control of your cargo. That’s when the real problems begin. They double-charge items, impose hidden warehouse and triggers the CBM calculations just to earn higher fees, and refuse to release goods until you pay inflated amounts that were never disclosed upfront. Even if you choose to pay—just to protect your business—they may still withhold your cargo or delay release without justification. This happened to me. It took physical intervention by my business partner to retrieve the shipment. No importer should have to go through that. If you’re importing from China, stay alert and be cautious of this Sino Shipping.

I’ve personally experienced serious issues with this company, and I’m sharing this to protect others from the same fate. After your goods arrive at their warehouse, they will pad fees—especially warehouse charges—far beyond market norms. You’ll be forced to pay whatever amount they demand just to retrieve your cargo hostage and manipulate you for padded fees, your cargo will be held even if it damages your profit margins or delays your business. Please avoid Sino FS for your freight forwarding. I will share more details and proof soon, but for now—stay alert, protect your business, and don’t fall for padded fees disguised as standard charges. Not accountable, reliable, or a good partner

They lost a shipment and would not refund me for the DDP shipping rate. We had a contract agreement and they would not provide compensation for the cost of goods or the shipment amount I paid. 0 out of 5 stars.
