worldelitesoccer (or WES) is simply the best online soccer sim out there I have played. And I have played quite a few. The focus is on the soccer management itself; it's your job to acquire nice players and getting the most out of them in matches. And if you win the league, you get the chance at ultimate glory in the WES cup (worlelitesoccers own champions league). You can play the game by covering the basics, selecting your best players and making a solid line-up for every match. But for those who want to dive deeper there's a wealth of numbers and statistics and in-game settings you can adjust to get the most out of your team. The direction and pace of play, the style of play, the pressure you put on opponents, the aggression level of individual players, the list goes on and on. And of course the opponents have to be scouted in order to adjust your team to the next opponent! There's no distraction in the form of getting sponsors or building stadiums and the like, there's a level playing field for all managers because every team has to make do with the same budget. This means new managers have the same chances as experienced ones, and can play for the title straight away. And because teams are divided in regions and divisions it doesn't take you ages to get to the top of the game. If you start at the bottom you could be world champion in just 5 seasons time! Highly recommended

WES, more addictive than caffeine

World Elite Soccer, or WES for short has been in existence for over a decade in one form or another. After a short hiatus it has returned with new blood behind it and is steadily improving. After many years of broken servers, inactive websites due to coding errors and lack of interest from previous owners, WES has found a home and for the past 2/3 years ironed out all the inconsistencies and runs smooth on a day to day basis. The owner is constantly looking for improvements and to boost interest in a truly unique online gaming community. Many hours can be wasted staring at a screen, looking for players, balancing training and frantically hitting F5 to find out the result in your match, and for some reason these things are addictive as my morning routine of coffee and toast. All in all WES is one of a kind. You won't find an online game that interacts as much as this does. Come join the fun and frustration!
