I am writing this review to warn others about Mammotion’s marketing tactics, specifically their Black Friday "offers" which turned out to be anything but a deal. The pricing is a jungle I purchased my Luba Mini LiDAR AWD during Black Friday (off-season) because it was explicitly marketed as the cheapest time of the year to buy. Now that the season has actually started, I’ve found the exact same machine at a significantly lower price—and to make matters worse, it now includes a garage for free. Their pricing strategy is a complete maze and feels intentionally misleading to early adopters. Hardware vs. Software It is a shame because the hardware itself feels solid and well-engineered. However, the software is simply not ready for prime time: • Failure to dock: During the first week, the mower was incapable of finding its way home. It would just keep driving aimlessly until the battery died in the middle of the lawn. • Delayed fixes: It took about one-two weeks for a software patch to arrive to fix this basic, essential function. Conclusion Don’t let the "limited time" sales fool you. You risk paying a premium to act as a beta tester for unfinished software. I feel cheated by their Black Friday promises and would advise others to be very cautious.
