Clowns…
Booked a transfer to Val Thorens for eight people. Apparently this company believes in avant-garde mathematics, because they sent a vehicle that could only seat seven. Yes — seven. For eight passengers. A bold logistical strategy that I assume was inspired by clown cars, except without the entertainment. When we pointed out this rather obvious issue (that eight humans do not magically compress into seven seats unless you’re running a circus), their solution was to leave three of us at the airport and shrug. No alternative vehicle, no attempt to fix the problem — just the corporate equivalent of “not my problem, old bean.” So while the rest of the group headed off to the mountains, three of us were stranded at the airport like forgotten luggage and forced to pay £250 out of our own pockets just to reach the holiday we’d already arranged transport for. In summary: if you enjoy paying for transport that may or may not include enough seats for the people you booked it for — and you’re fond of surprise airport abandonment — then this company is perfect. Otherwise, you might prefer a transfer service that has mastered the complex concept of counting.
