Black and Decker 300w multitool
I literally recieved a Black and Decker multitool 300W product number 53249 from Toolstation (order number XWW631442709). I am decorating my bathroom and was removing grout. My previous multitool stopped working so I ordered the above on 23/04/24. Arrived 24/04/24. Brilliant. Upon using it I found the metal body part got too hot to hold. So it has to stopped to let it cool down. Using setting 2 I could use it for a bit longer at a time. Still not very long. I decided that I would change the blade. From diamond tipped semi circular blade for one that need the other fitting bolt to be attached. The teeth on the ring are so small I would imaging a blind person could not feel the raised dot like teeth as braille marking are more raised. The blade tightend by a Allen key would stay on for about 5 seconds then come loose. I am i believe strong enough to tighten it, even when the allen key starts damaging the edge of the bolt. Very poor design, for both handling and use of blades
