Simply does not work and the 90 guarantee is fraudulent
I have tried to clone my system disk to a new SSD using both Partition Assistant and Backupper. The AOMEI tech support could not provide a solution. Neither utility worked and both reported problems with the source disk, but Windows chkdsk /r /f said it had no problems. This was confirmed using a professional test rig on the HDD. I've informed AOMEI of my complete dissatisfaction and am awaiting a response to see whether they stick to their guarantee promise, or have I just wasted my money buying something that is not fit for purpose? Since responding to AOMEI's request for data, which I have already provided to them several times, I have have no response from them. Therefore, I only conclude that: 1. The products do not work for the purposes they are sold, ie cloning drives. 2. The AOMEI guarantee is a dishonest sham and has no value whatsoever. 3. No-one should buy Partition Assistant or Backupper with the expectation of using them to clones drives, because if you do, your money is going straight down the pan.
