Photo ID required on purchase
As has been stated by others below, I was asked to verify who I was by sending them a copy of my photo ID where I was allowed to blot out things other than my name and picture. 1. I have never, ever, had this treatment from any company before. Where do they get off asking people to show their ID? 2. It's rather funny (or sad) that they ask you to send in something that you'd only do with people you really trust, because they claim they don't trust your payment... (I'm on a VPN, which might be the reason why, but I've used my PayPal account for many years and it's completely verified and I have communicated with them through the e-mail address my PayPal is linked to). But seriously WHO DOES THIS OVER A $30 ITEM??? 3. You expect to play a new game within half an hour, instead you are battling it out with their customer service for several hours and get the "well, it's in our terms and you agreed to them" line flung in your face. Yeah, great guys. It's in your terms. It's not something that I've ever had happen to me in any other online store and I buy several things a WEEK online... So please, if you want a hassle free transaction, go to another key vendor. It's not like these are the cheapest either, or anything, they just looked relatively trustworthy. Won't EVER shop again.
