Do not trust Alpha smartphones
I bought 2 iPhones in very good condition from alpha as Christmas presents. costing over £500. on arrival 1 had a faulty home button and had to be sent back, because of the bank holidays, child number 1 had 12 days without their xmas present. Phone number 2 started losing battery life within days of receiving it, took it to apple who replaced the battery for £50 and everything was great for 4 months then the screen failed, returned it to Alpha, who claimed it had been dropped, it certainly hadn't so a argued, only to be told getting a battery upgrade by APPLE had invalidated my warranty, yes that's right getting the manufacturers to repair their issue invalidated a warranty so i'd have to pay anyway. £70 later and the repair has lasted less than 5 weeks and the same problem has arisen. i've now been emailing them for 5 days without a response, i've tweeted them and logged a case on the website, no response. Been number 1 in the queue for their online support for over 2 hours today, without any response. and no one is answering the telephone! believe me i could have bought brand new phones for the amount of time and pain this experience has caused. Avoid theses people, they can't even spell guarantee correctly on their own website!
