Paid for some sandals using PayPals
Paid for some sandals using PayPal. Thought my money was protected but NO, the sandals broke the first time I wore them, I contacted the seller but all they would offer was a refund if I sent them back to China (company said they were in USA), I explained that the return would be too expensive and received another email saying the same thing. I contacted PayPal who opened a case and contacted the seller, the seller wanted me to close the case in order to release the payment so that they could refund me, I refused because I didn’t trust them so I escalated to a claim, I uploaded a photo of the broken sandals with the reason for escalating to a claim as ‘damaged/ broken / not as described but PayPal denied my claim and now I have now to go! The seller still hasn’t had the money though and it’s not the first time that a seller doesn’t get the money despite a dispute being ruled in their favor
