Video projection failed in all 8 theatres: no adult manager on site to deal with the resulting chaos.
AMC Theatre, Cherry Creek, Denver, CO. Sat through 30 minutes of ads and previews; sound level far too loud, almost painful. 40 minutes into the film (The Odyssey), the video projection for all 8 theatres failed, although the soundtracks continued. Mainly teenage staff hadn't a clue what to do: more interested in serving food and drinks to punters who didn't yet realise there was a problem, than dealing with customers who knew only too well that there was! Eventually, one youth with a ring through his nose began handing out vouchers to anyone who wanted them, whether they'd bought tickets or not. A credit card refund was not an option. Utter chaos: do these theatres not employ a responsible adult in a managerial role? I shall not return to an AMC theatre, voucher or no voucher!
