Bought a Note7P about three and a half years ago. I think it upgraded the Android OS once, if that. Unlike their "Armor" series this isn't advertised as waterproof, bulletproof or any other of the dubious claims of that sort loads of phone makers pretend their products have. So I never tried to find out how "rugged" this is, although I did once drop it screen down onto concrete with NO ill effect. Pure luck I bet. The only downside on the phone is its camera shots just aren't in focus. They look it at first, but zoom in to any degree and the mush is clear for all to see.
