The A1 mini printer is excellent value for a 3D printer 'beginner', but customers should be aware that once purchased support is essentially provided by the excellent Wiki. If you try and deal with Bambu's direct online support you may struggle as you will be endlessly asked for irrelevant videos of straightforward and easily described problems! In the first month our 'hot end' has been dismantled on a regular basis and one of the fans on the machine has failed. Clearing blocked nozzles is not for the faint hearted and the need to melt the filament means that care is required to avoid burns. You can't expect the type of warranty you get on a washing machine or that it will run for years without problems. The grandchildren have however been very impressed with the fidget toys. It appears that there is no Bambu company as such in the UK. A UK service company handles their legal and tax affairs. This is not the case in the EU where they have a genuine presence. Bottom line - fun if you enjoy and are able to carry out the continuous maintenance required to keep the machine working!
