I will not contract with them again
Just a heads-up for anyone considering a new mobile plan. My two experiences with Simba has been less than ideal (yes, I gave them another chance and the experience was even more dissappointing the second time.) I wanted to port my number out after a short time because I found the 5G service to be quite inconsistent (or even non-existent, i.e. most of the time I would be connected only to 4G) in the areas where I normally move (CBD, and the North.) In addition, the vast majority of SMSs, including those I need for 2-factor authentication for a number of services, were never delivered. I was then informed there's a $30 fee for porting out within the first 30 days, which is mentioned in their terms. While it's in the T&Cs, I found this policy and the subpar network performance to be very frustrating. Finally, the only way to contact customer support is through a form in their website, and they respond to you. It's a detail to be aware of if you're looking for flexibility.
