This company offers unreasonably low compensation for private sessions. They only pay $7 for the first 30 sessions, and even after progressing through seven different tiers, the maximum rate only increases to $10. Additionally, their penalty structure is highly excessive and unfair: -200% penalty for a teacher no-show -150% penalty for a cancellation within 2 hours -100% penalty for a cancellation within 24 hours While no-shows are understandably unacceptable, life happens — a family emergency or unexpected situation may cause a teacher to miss a class once or twice a year. This penalty system essentially allows the company to deduct money from your compensation, which is illegal under U.S. labor laws. After reading their compensation policies, I decided not to join their team. I strongly suggest that others avoid working with them as well.
