Awful packaging terrible customer service response
I ordered 4 of these for friends for Xmas. All 4 boxes they came in were damaged to the point that it is embarrassing to give them in this box. They were wrapped with what I can only imagine was half a roll of sellotape and as a result the colour and print from the box came off when removing the sellotape. This combined with so many dents makes the boxes unusable. I contact customer services and was told that these are not gift boxes and the sellotape was to ensure the product was not damaged. However they are enclosed in polystyrene which stops them breaking not the thin flimsy box and sellotape. I was told if I wanted boxes to be sent they were $7.99 each and available to buy from their store....... I cannot believe product like this is meant to be gifted simply in cheap polystyrene. Really really disappointed with this the product is nice but the box it comes in and the response from Customer service was shocking! This was the response, not even an apology of how bad they look The glass cups must be packaged this way to prevent breakage during shipping. The box is a protective package, not a gift box. This product only includes the glass cup itself, and gift boxes are not included. Gift boxes are sold separately in our store for $7.99 each. Thank you for your understanding.
