To read Beautiful Halos response to my view you would believe that they have been totally reasonable in managing my concerns - this is not the case. They described the light i brought as milky lampshade. The picture showed an imagine of an opac glass bowl on the lamp. The shade that arrived was clear. When I complained their response was that the resolution on my computer must be poor. They said that the lamp did not come with a milky shade. That is my mistake. They told me I could return it but I would have to pay for the postage and the refund would be minus their original postage to me. I had to send them their invoice which described the lamp shade as milky and a snapshot of the website. They then said they did have a milky lampshade but again I would have to pay for the new shade to be delivered. When I suggested that they had either lied to me originally about it not coming with a milky shade or the new shade may not be compatible with the original lamp they said that we my responsibility because I wanted a different lamp and I would have to pay for any returned and incur postage costs from them. It was over 100 emails later and the threat of involving AMEX that they finally send a new cloudy (milky) glass lampshade. They are not the same as the original lamp fitting. They are a bit too small but I gave up trying to fight with them. I would not use beautiful halo again and would not recommend anyone else does. They cant sweep under the carpet that this is a very bad service.
