⭐ 1 Star — Beware of the "No-Hassle Returns" Promise! **Misleading returns policy, disappointing quality and expensive returns to China!** I purchased a pair of Buddha Stones cotton harem trousers as a gift for my wife. Unfortunately, the whole experience has been extremely disappointing. Firstly, delivery took far longer than I expected, meaning the gift arrived too late. Worse still, the quality was extremely poor. The trousers were advertised as soft, breathable and comfortable, but the material was stiff, coarse and felt more like treated canvas than soft cotton. When I contacted customer service, they explained that the dye treatment creates a layer on the fabric's surface, contributing to its rough texture. However, my biggest complaint concerns their advertised **30-day "no-hassle returns" policy**. Their website displays a company address in Colorado, USA, and prices in US dollars. I reasonably believed I was purchasing from an American business. Imagine my surprise when, after requesting a return, I was informed that I would have to arrange and pay for international postage all the way to CHINA! I could find no clear warning before purchasing that returns would need to be sent to China, potentially costing a substantial proportion of the purchase price. Instead of arranging a straightforward return, customer service repeatedly tried to persuade me to keep the unwanted trousers, offering partial refunds of 5%, then 10%, then 15%, and finally 20%. **How is any of this a "no-hassle return"?** I have repeatedly explained that the trousers are unused and that I simply want to return them for a full refund. In my opinion, the company's advertising creates a misleading impression of how straightforward its returns process really is. Customers deserve to know where they may have to return products and what the potential costs will be BEFORE making a purchase. **My advice: Think very carefully before ordering. What appears to be a straightforward purchase could become an expensive and frustrating experience if something goes wrong.** I certainly won't be purchasing from Buddha Stones again.
