DoA Product and No Customer Support System

[Updated] I bought a FNIRSI 1014D Oscilloscope on 13th February. It arrived a week or so later but it did not have a power supply - it requires a USB adapter but the instructions state that only the supplied adapter should be used. I tried several high output USB adapters (the highest now being 3.4A) and the FNirsi 1014D will not switch on. I went to the TomTop website and was a bit shocked to find that there is no system (and therefore no way to track any support problems). I had to search through a page of FAQ to find an e-mail address in the middle of a paragraph. I sent an e-mail and several days later, I received a reply asking for photos of labels from the side of the box which I supplied as JPEGs but was told that they couldn't see them. Eventually, I had to upload them to my own webspace and provide links. I uploaded a video to YouTube showing the problem including a USB meter indicating that the device is hardly drawing any current so not challenging the 3.4A power supply. All that TomTop has done is keep telling me that the issue has been passed on to somebody to deal with. If I wait, nothing happens. If I e-mail them, I get told to wait. The last time, two days ago, I was told that somebody would reply with a solution within 24 hours. I have since had to buy another device and just want my money back but it seems like I am going to have to wrench it back using either PayPal (which I accidentally used as a guest) or VISA. [Update 1] TomTop's reply asks me to supply information which Trustpilot advises agains sharing but also gives the impression that they are being helpful when in fact in private e-mails have offered to refund me 50% (£57.95) of what it cost to buy an item which arrived in totally non-working condition and demand that I pay the return fully tracked shipping costs (the cheapest I could find was £24.75) thus effectively giving me £33.20 back from a loss of £115.90. They appear to have completely ignored the fact that PayPal have opened a case. [Update 2] After reviewing TomTop's pitiful offer, PayPal gave me a full refund without having to return the item which is effectively junk for £24.75. I wrote a review of the item and three days later, it has not appeared - so, I assume that TomTop has blocked it.
