★☆☆☆☆ Two-month wait and no assembly instructions We waited two months for this furniture to arrive, so it was incredibly disappointing to finally unpack it and discover that there were no assembly instructions whatsoever. This is not a simple item to put together. It arrived completely flat-packed with a huge number of panels, screws, fittings, hinges and drawer runners. Without instructions, there is no reliable way of knowing which numbered parts connect or in what order. We had a carpenter booked and paid to assemble the furniture, but he was unable to proceed without the manual. To make matters worse, Litfad’s online chat did not open until 3pm UK time, and when I finally contacted them I was told they would ask the supplier for the instructions and it could take up to another 48 hours. After waiting two months for delivery, basic assembly instructions should have been included — or at the very least available immediately online using the product SKU. A very frustrating experience and completely avoidable.
