Ebay Money Back Guarantee and Hermes
This guarantee is about as much use as a soup fork. A recent purchase has not been delivered but Hermes now claim that it was delivered and left securely in porch 10 days ago.Their tracking being edited 10 days after the so called delivery. It was not left securely in porch as this is simply not possible, and I was home on the 'delivery' day.No card or other notification of delivery. Ebay, bless their cotton socks, will only consider a refund if I prove delivery did not take place!! and I produce a letter from Hermes saying that they did not deliver the purchase to me. They say that they rely on their couriers( false) tracking page. I have pointed out that it is up to the courier to prove delivery and that they should have obtained a receipt for delivery, apart from not having any authority to dump the parcel, wherever it went.
