Waste of time, waste of gas
I had a loan through Springleaf before, so when I got an email about how I qualify to apply for a loan, I did, online. I got an email confirmation that I had been approved for a $3,000 loan to pay off debts. Before I could call the branch that it had told me to call, they call me at my busiest time at work, started asking questions that they could have gotten from my credit report had they pulled it. I had asked if I could call back after work when I am on my way to their office because it would take me about an hour to an hour and a half to get there because I work in Madison and their office was in Milwaukee. She said fine so I will see you at 9:45 am, I'm like no, I get done with work at 4 pm. she's like oh my bad. I get off work and I am on the way, traffic was bad, I called them back and got someone else that said that they could help me finish my loan, again I go through the same verification process of everything, when it came to my bills, she had asked what I pay every month, so I proceeded to tell her and when I mention whether it is a loan, she asked me what the payoff is, I said I do not know, look at my credit report, she then proceeded to tell me that not everything is on my credit report, I said the only thing that is not on my credit report is the cash store which is one of the bills that I want to pay off. She then proceeded to tell me that everything I told her was not on my credit report. needless to say, I look at my credit report regularily, like once a week and I just so happened to look at it yesterday, the day before this happened and I know for a fact that the credit reports that she was looking at had everything on it except for the cash store. Instead of telling me that they were not able to actually give me the loan, they let me come to the office, proceeded to go through everything again and that is when they tell me that they will not be able to give me the loan. I wasted my time and my gas going to this office.Thanks for nothing.
