Advertised features did not work on Laude 8inch Phablet
The Laude 8inch Phablet was advertised as having GPS and also working on the WCDMA 900 band. I received the Phablet (it was packaged very well so very unlikely it could be damaged in transit) but after using both my sim and a second sim (both work in my other old phones) I found that they did not work in the Laude Phablet. Also tried a friends GSM Sim this did not work as well. Used the Wifi (which did work) downloaded GPS programs which did not work Tried GPS Test and it stated GPS No Fix. To have the GPS and Phone functions of unit not work is sus. So in good faith I paid for a Phablet and ended up with a Tablet.... Contacted Tiny Deal and was told to take certain steps which I had done already also asked for video but this is an internal problem with Phablet (not external) that is even if the GPS and Phone function is in the unit. If Tiny Deal can not supply a working item as per their advertised position I advise people to stay away from this site. I have advised Tiny Deal to cancel my account and remove all my details from their records as it seems I am wasting my time contacting them with the expectation of Tiny Deal correcting this matter. Not happy at all with my experience with Tiny Deal 12th August 2016 - Update. Tiny Deal have made a partial refund to me and I will try to sell phablet as a tablet as Wifi and other things work well (but GPS does not work) someone may use it just as a tablet. My initial post may have been a bit harsh as I was upset about the advertised feature of the WCDMA 900 band not working. Other items that Tiny Deal sell may well have no problems, but anyone living in Country Australia would find this unit may not work on the Optus WCDMA 900 band ( I did find after my initial post that it did work in Launceston (90kl from where I live) on the Optus WCDMA 2100 band so the problem was only that the WCDMA 900 band did not work. At least Tiny Deal did respond to my predicament by making the partial refund and I hope they make some enquiry with the manufacturer about why the unit does not work on the WCDMA 900 band as per advertised specifications. I am happier with Tiny Deal response which has happened since my initial post.
