I consider Himalayan salt as one of the earth’s greatest gifts to us. I use many, many electronic devices in my home from computers to my thermostat and digital refrigerator. I am concerned about the positive ions that build up in my surroundings. Himalayan salt lamps help to counter the negative effects experienced when surrounded by them. Himalayan salt, when warmed, is also known to help with air purification and enhancement of a positive mental state. Although I have several common Himalayan salt lamps, I especially love those from Ambion. This is my second one from them and I love it. It’s unique in its quality and unique design. The simple square cube is elevated on an acrylic or plastic stand and is as much of a sculpture and art piece as a health and well-being device. There is a replaceable LED bulb that inserts into the corner and emits a soft, amber color. It’s a beautiful glow that adds zen and tranquility to any room. It’s less than 6 inches tall and about 5 inches wide. The compact size makes it an ideal addition to small spaces. I have this one on an end table that is next to the bed. I find it helps to get me into a relaxed state as I fall asleep. I keep it turned on 24/7 and love how it looks and how it makes me feel. The cord is long enough to enable it to be placed wherever you want in a room. The cord will tuck under the bottom and is almost hidden from sight when plugged in. I recommend this lamp and this company to anyone that appreciates exceptional quality and design.
