Very poor and cheap quality
I ordered 3 Items. I saw dresslily advertised on face book so I thought I'd take a look. I don't usually buy clothes online, as I prefer to see and feel the items before I buy. But however I thought i'd give it a shot. Firstly I thought the Site was a American site. How wrong I was. I ordered my 3 items, of which I am still waiting for 1, as it was not in stock when I originally placed the order. But no where on their site did it say item not in stock. I only found out when I went to track my order and it said partially shipped. So when I questioned them that is when I got told, it was on back order. I will say when I questioned them they did respond quite quickly. But they didn't say anything about amending their site about stock availability. So I received my partial items, when I looked at packaging and saw Chinese writing I started to have doubts and my heart sunk. As I know anything usually from china isn't usually the best of quality. Once I opened the packaging and looked at my items, which I hadn't even taken out of their packets I could see straight away they were cheap. Very thin material is used, and very cheap quality. I don't even want to wear the items. On their website you can see the items have discounts from the original pricing say from £50 to £18. But taking a look at the items I think they originally are worth the lower price as I do not see how there can be worth £50 originally due to the poor and cheap quality. I feel I should cancel the item that is on back order with them, but they have already taken my money so I may as wait and decide what to do once I receive my item. Oh yes you have to pay import tax also once your items arrive. I advise anyone unless you are looking for cheap and nasty clothes, stay well clear of dresslily.com luckily I didn't spend that much with them, but it has been a lesson learned. 10/12/2016. Ok an update from my previous review and as you can see I have gone from 1 star to 3. Only for the fact that dresslily.com was quite responsive once I had posted my review. But to be fair they kept me up to date during my purchase. I have however advised them about the fact of there quality of items and the prices they show. Due to the quality of the items the discounted price they show are more than likely to be the real price rather than the one they are discounted from. Also they advertise the clothes are cotton/polyester, when in fact what I received was cotton/rayon. No clothing care labels and even the tags that where attached to the clothing had incorrect spelling on them. I did cancel my 3rd item as I wasn't happy with the quality of what I had already received, and I did get a refund promptly.
