Highly disappointed
This review is only for this single purchase. - I have been a long time customer of PinkyParadise and have loved every single order I have placed in the past. My most recent purchase however, was a huge disappointment which upsets me to say since I have always considered the store as my go-to place to get contacts. So I placed my order on the 24th for five pairs of random lenses during the free shipping campaign. I received them today in the mail which is the usual standard time for shipping so that was great. On their site, they state that the random lenses you will receive will be different for each pair, meaning in a pair, you will get 1 lens and another lens that is different (if that makes sense.) You basically get two different single lenses in your purchase. It was $9USD which is incredibly cheap and I couldn't have been more excited to try them out. When I got my package, that was when the disappointment settled in. I received 5 lenses that were the same out of the 10 lenses which was supposedly to be different. Break down of what I got : 3 EOS crystal white (which offers minimum to no color change and zero enlarging effect. Its basically on the natural side. When I say this, I mean transparent. No change.) 3 Barbie light brown contacts (without name label) 2 Barbie dark brown contacts (also without name) 1 lizard 1 Vassen pink I honestly was not sure of how to react. They said on their site that they had 900+ different styles you could have got but I guess my luck was simply bad as I got multiple repeats. I'm giving this purchase a 3 star only because the repeats were of standard color (my eyes are brown) and could wear them on a daily basis. If they were of different color, I would have given this a mere 2 star. (Why would I want multiples of something I don't usually wear?) The good side to this purchase though was that it is a good deal. A pair of EOS crystals and Barbie brands usually cost around $16(?)USD per pair, which would have cost me $128 USD If I purchased them at normal pricing. (Not forgetting that lizard/Vassen pink is around $10+/single lens.) My whole purchase of 5 random lenses was only around $50USD making this very cost effective. That is, If I were looking for the same lenses. With that being said, I won't stop buying from PinkyParadise but this was a very upsetting experience as I was expecting to try new varieties. I'll stick to buying them in pairs from now on.
