App not as advertised; essentially unuseable
TLDR - don't waste your money! I signed up for MakesyouFluent through an ad on social media which advertised a "risk free guarantee" insinutating that there was a 30-day money back guarantee. There definitely is not!! The app itself is terrible - the very first French lesson included the English pronunciation of sport, and even when I got answers right the app inserted a full stop so the AI tutor would not move on. It is completely unuseable as a service. Despite letting customer service know that the app was unuseable for the purposes it was sold for, they told me I needed to wait for 30 days and "If the problem persists" they will refund the order. Essentially they are using paying customers to test a Beta version of their app from what I can see. The cancellation process has been difficult - they have agreed to a 50% refund but this has not yet come through.
