Train delay on return journey resulted in missed connections. Last station had also cancelled a train for no reason - completely peed off at this stage so caught a taxi back the last leg to avoid another 3 hour delay! When asked about some form of compensation Avanti staff said "no chance". Let the train take the strain was my reason for not driving, not for the rail companies to take the mickey. You live and learn.
