VAT evasion - avoid at all costs
For expediency we purchased from the Creality VAT registered agent in the UK as goods were sold and dispatched from the UK. Our invoice had no VAT component so we asked for a correct VAT invoice. The agent stated that no VAT was charged and we could add it and pay it ourselves if necessary. We advised them that VAT needs to be included as the seller is VAT registered but they refused. The latest today is an invoice with VAT included at 0%, also incorrect Prices on the official Creality site do include VAT, making purchases from their agent substantially more expensive for any VAT registered customer as there is no VAT shown that can be reclaimed. An enquiry with HMRC is being raised over their sales procedures.
