Very Disappointing and Concerning Experience Our experience with SBG Funding was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about how they handle customers and confidential financial information. We were contacted repeatedly and presented with multiple financing options. More than once, we were told that we had received approval and that an agreement was coming. Based on those representations, we were asked to provide extensive confidential information, including bank statements from multiple accounts, identification, a voided check, and other sensitive business and financial documents. While they were trying to obtain the documents, communication was frequent and persistent. However, after the requested information was provided, the communication suddenly changed. The promised agreement never arrived, calls and messages went unanswered, and we could not get a clear explanation of what happened to the supposed approval. The most concerning part is that even after we escalated the matter to leadership, we still could not get a straightforward explanation or accurate information regarding the status of the application. I understand that financing approval can change but that is not the reason for this review.The problem is repeatedly being told that financing was approved, being encouraged to provide highly confidential financial and personal documents based on those statements, and then being met with silence and a lack of transparency. The entire experience left us extremely uncomfortable and questioning the legitimacy of the process. When a company collects this level of sensitive information, customers deserve accurate information, transparency, and professional communication. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend being very cautious about providing sensitive personal or banking information until you have clear written confirmation of exactly what has been approved and what the terms are. Not recommended company to work with.
