Trip.com

I am taking Trip.com to court

Highly arrogant and ignorant company with many tricks up their sleeves. I am now suing them in court in Singapore, where their headquarters is located—a process that can be done online, even by non-residents. Their "customer service" agents seem trained to stall, sending pre-written statements that make no sense most of the time. To cover the damage caused, they initially offered me 2 EUR, then 12 EUR, 50 EUR, and now 100 EUR. I have not accepted any of these offers. The actual damages are significantly higher, but these rising offers show exactly how they operate—their real goal was to give me nothing from the start. Throughout this entire process, my evidence (screenshots and video recordings) was ignored, and my questions went unanswered, all to avoid taking responsibility for a fraudulent listing designed to collect commissions on non-existent products and services. Never again will I use Trip.com. If you wonder why they have so many positive reviews, look closely: a majority are single-sentence praises from "users" (or AI) who have only ever posted one review. This isn't surprising at all. In July 2026, China's SAMR fined Trip.com Group approximately 5.18 to 5.2 billion yuan (roughly $765 to $770 million) for antitrust violations after abusing its dominant position in the online hotel-booking market through algorithms, platform rules, and technical tools. This company is completely untrustworthy.

I am suing Trip.com in Singapore

I am suing Trip.com headquarter in Singapore and its hotel partner in South Korea through the small claims court. This is easy to do (online) and available for non-residents (tourist). For days Trip.com has lied, misled and refused to look at my evidence (screenshots and video) from their own App in order to avoid any responsibility. Their “customer service” agents are trained to keep the customer waiting and to avoid admitting any wrongdoing. They are using pre-written statements that most of the times don’t even make sense. If asked questions, you will not receive any answers. It’s not possible to communicate with them via Email. This company is arrogant and ignorant beyond belief. Don’t give them your money. And by the way, if you think the positive reviews that show up by “people” who only have ever left one review (and it was all coincidentally for Trip.com) and wrote one simple sentence, is real, then think again.
