Horrible customer service response in getting a part replaced.
I have a dresser that I purchased (and delivered on June 29th) that when I tried to assemble it one (maybe more but I can't assemble any further) of the parts was not drilled correctly. I have been trying for almost two weeks to get the part replaced. I filled out the form, which included the order number, and then they sent an email saying they needed the tracking number. I sent a picture of that in and then heard nothing for a few days until I reached out to them again. They responded again, now saying they couldn't find my order in the system and need me to send the invoice. Sent that and now I am still waiting. I called the customer service number and tried to get help from them and I could barely understand the young lady but the only thing she could tell me was that all support claims must go through email. When I asked to talk to a supervisor I was told the only way to talk to a supervisor was through email. When I asked for the email of the supervisor I was told the same email address that support is supposedly through. I have tried to be patient but this is going on two weeks for an issue that their own documentation says would be resolved in 24 hours. If I do not get a resolution by Saturday it is going back as a return, luckily it was purchased through a dealer other than Garvee so the return should be easier. UPDATE: After another unhelpful email from Garvee telling me that they still couldn't find my order (even having the order #, Tracking # and copy of the invoice) and told me I needed to go through channels with Lowe's who it was purchased from online. I gave up and boxed it back up and took it to Lowes. Five minute resolution with money returned. THANK YOU LOWE'S.
