I was offered a price of £397 for 2 rooms for 3 adults with breakfast at the Four points Sheraton in Ahemedbad but when I booked it booked 1 room with 3 adults including breakfast. Luckily I had chosen an offer that allowed cancellation o I could cancel. I am hoping that Agoda will honour the offer which I have a photo of.
The price quoted for our reservation for our stay in Ahemedbad Four Point Sheraton for 2 rooms and 3 adults was £390. When I booked it as the reservation was luckily offer free cancellation until 22 Dec was for 1 room and 3 adults. I tried to contact Agoda as a VIP member but only got the AI operator which was useless in resolving my booking. I have a photo of the booking but could not risk being charged so have cancelled the booking. Agoda when reviewing this rating should get in touch and ensure the offer is honoured. Reply below states that Agoda tried to contact me by phone but I have not received any calls. Please inform me of the number that will call and I can look out for the call
I tried to book the Lalit in New Delhi for my 4 night stay in March when the price on offer was £408 for an Executive Club room with breakfast for 2 adults. I went to get my card and when I can back a few minutes later the price had been increased to over £621. This is something that has now happened to me on 3 occasions. I am hoping that highlighting this Agoda will review their systems and also hopefully honour the £408 price. To prove the above I also have a photo of the £408 offer price. I keep on getting messages asking how their agents performed which are circular and this is how I think they deal with comments and complaints from customers. What is most frustrating is that another member of the party booked the same room at the price we were trying to book at 15 minutes later. All I asked for was for the price I was quoted and tried to book at when their system changed the price. I have already sent a photo for their customer service to match too. Let’s wait and see as a VIP member this is really disappointing and all us friends are now having to look at alternative hotels because we will not be staying there unless we are given the price match. 10 rooms will most likely be cancelled as they are all on cancellation until mid March.
