They should sync ticket availability with the carriers they book on to avoid wasting everyone's time. KTX tickets were sold out for the time I wanted, so I found Rail Ninja that showed them as being available. They happily took all of my information and booked the tickets, then asked me to reschedule when they actually tried to book it by hand.
