“Buyer Beware & Buyer Be Aware”

“Buyer Beware & Buyer Be Aware” I have recently purchased the Beschoi camera bag which was advertised in a recent K&F at £59.99 reduced from £139. However, when their sale ended I had noticed it was exactly the same at £59.99. When I contacted K&F for further clarification they stated that it has always been priced at £59.99 and never advertised in a sale from £139. They then asked me to send a screenshot to prove my complaint, which I had never thought I would have needed to do. If you decide to purchase a sale item please take a screenshot of the advert outlining the sale price along with their stated original price. I am so disappointed and annoyed that K&F operate in such a dubious manner and deceive customers regarding their pricing. I would never again purchase an item from K&F and would never, ever recommend purchasing camera equipment from K&F. They give excellent camera companies who sell their products such a bad name and should not be allowed to operate in such a disgraceful manner. ‘Buyer beware - buyer be aware’ Additional note: I have just noticed 13/11/22 that the practice of K&F over-inflating the original price continues. For example, K&F have started advertising, as from today, a camera bag called the ‘Alpha Backpack’ in their sale and the sale price is slashed to £199.99 and K&F claim that it has been reduced from £299,99 in their sale. This obviously equates to a ‘bargain’ saving of £100. However, over the last few week (at least) the K&F website where the Alpha Backpack was being advertised was online at the price of £199.99 and NOT at the price of £299.99. This obviously means that K&F are over-inflating their online sale prices and that potential customers are being duped into thinking they are getting a good deal when they are not. Please make sure you really are getting a genuine bargain and not simply paying an over-inflated price in the sale, which will not change (increase) post sale period when you are considering purchasing and handing your hard-earned money over to K&F. Buyer Beware - Buyer Be Aware!! In Response to your comment: Please clarify - What you are saying is that it is ok to advertise a product at £199.99 for weeks and weeks prior to a sale. Then you decide to re-advertise the product in a sale and it is priced at the £199.99 and the claim that it has been reduced from £299.99, even though it has not recently been advertised at the price of £299.99. You do this in order to encourage customers to believe that they are now purchasing the item at a recently reduced sale price and purchasing a bargain? And then, when the sale ends the price advertised will remain at the price of £199.99 and not increase to the price of £299.99 - Is that correct? If that is the case, does that really make this particular item a sale priced item or not really? (I state this because this is exactly what happened with my purchase of one of your items that I thought I had bought at a sale reduced price of £59.99 from a much higher price when the price that I paid immediately after the sale did not change from the ‘so called’ reduced sale price of £59.99)
