Detailed Feedback about Clevguard or Kidsguardpro: I have been a user of Kidsguardpro for almost 20 months now. However, unlike my previous subscription experience, my current one-year subscription has been riddled with issues. Regrettably, I have found the resolution process for these issues to be largely ineffective, with the support team consistently attributing them to my network or connectivity rather than providing constructive solutions. Despite providing ample evidence of the issues I've encountered, there has been a reluctance to acknowledge them, leading to repeated blame on connectivity issues. Over the past 6-8 months, I have been forced to reinstall the app on the monitoring device approximately 50 times. This process is particularly challenging for me as I am unable to access the device physically and must install the app remotely. Despite reaching out for support through over 100 emails, the issues persist. One significant limitation I have encountered is the app's reliance on WiFi networks. While the support team has advised that the app functions primarily in WiFi networks, there is no option for customers to choose data upload via mobile networks. Additionally, features such as live surround listening and live camera access are absent, and the app's claim of functioning in stealth mode is questionable, as users can detect activity when accessing critical functions like Live Screen, Live Recording, Recording Screen, and taking photos. Below, I outline the pros and cons of each functionality based on my 20-month experience with the app: Cons: 1. Logs: Logs stop working at specific times every day, often only showing locked and unlocked screen activity. Restarting the device is required to resolve this, but the issue remains unresolved. 2. Call Logs: No call logs are showing, despite functioning properly with my previous subscription. 3. Photos: After each reinstall, previously uploaded photos are duplicated, and after the latest upgrade, photo uploads have ceased. 4. Video Preview: Similar to photos, all video previews are uploaded again after each reinstall. 5. Keylogger: Does not record built-in app activity, such as notes. 6. Geofence: Default maps display US maps, and configuration is challenging, with inaccurate search functionality. 7. WhatsApp: Screenshots are not updated or captured when connected to the mobile network. 8. Live Screen: Rarely functions properly, and users can detect access. 9. Record Surround: Users can detect recording activity as a mic icon is displayed until recording completion. 10. App Calls: Only one-way recording is possible, and the other party's voice cannot be heard. 11. Record Calls: Sometimes fails to work when connected to the mobile network. 12. Record Screen: Users can detect when screen recording is initiated. 13. Take Photos: Users can detect photo capture as the camera icon flashes on the status bar. Pros: 1. Introduction of many new features compared to previous versions, such as Logs, Live Screen, App Calls, Record Calls, etc. 2. Unmatched features, if they function properly, including Logs, Call Logs, Record Calls, Live Screen, Keylogger, Take Photos, Capture Screenshots, and App Calls. While I haven't used any other similar apps for comparison, as a customer, I expect an app to operate in stealth mode and deliver on all advertised features. Despite its shortcomings, I appreciate Kidsguardpro for partially meeting my requirements. I must commend the support team for their responsiveness, although many issues remain unresolved.
