Lying liars who lie
Do not believe any claims posted on this company's site regarding where things will ship from, how long before they ship out, or how long they will take to get to you. Two weeks ago I ordered a printer that said it was in stock in the US, with a promised ship out time of 5 days or less, and a promised delivery time of 3-7 days once shipped, and it was clearly marked as being in stock in the US, both on the site, and in the confirmation email. Two days later I got an email saying the order had shipped, but the tracking number did not work. I waited a few more days to see if it would begin working and then I emailed Creality and the tracking company. It turns out that it was a tracking service for a contact lens site named TTDeye that had no connection with Creality, so of course they could not help me. Meanwhile the Creality people kept giving me the run-around, not answering any of my questions, not saying where the printer was shipping from. After many emails, they finally gave me a new tracking number and link. This one was to a Chinese tracking service, but with a link to FedEx. I clicked through to FedEx, and the tracking number worked there, but it said they had not yet received the package. Then I logged into my Creality account, and saw that it showed my order as "fulfilled". I don't know about you but to me, "fulfilled" means the customer has the product, which I do not. I confronted them about these things, about their broken promises, misleading information, flat out lies, and they just said I need to wait more, things are taking longer due to the pandemic. But this is over 5 months into the pandemic from China's perspective, and therefore any promise they make on their site regarding timing is with full knowledge of delays, and yet not only did they make the aforementioned claims, they also boasted of their successful efforts to keep their US warehouses stocked, complete with pictures of full warehouse shelves (but of course no proof of when those images were taken). They were clearly using these claims as a selling point to appear to stand out from competitors, but as complete lies just meant to sell product. Their products seem to have decent value, so it is disappointing that they are so untrustworthy.
