mail.com scam
I opened a mail.com email address, sent one test email to check the send/receive was functioning then one with an attachment. All good so far. The next time I tried to log in I had a dialogue box telling me that the account was blocked as it may be used for spam emails. Several attempts, same result, completed the 'customer services' contact form, the response time quoted was 3-5 days but I could get faster service if I paid for a premium account. No response received after 5 days, Several repetitions of the process with submissions of the contact form and always the response was to pay for a premium account to get fast customer service. With no response ever received I have simply wallked away from mail.com and deleted their Bookmarks from all my machines. Conclusion, mail.com is a scam to extort money from frustrated customers. Avoid At All Costs!
