The ultimate DJI nightmare: 5 mic orders, a broken drone, and endless support lies updated 26 May 2026.
I am writing this to expose the absolute disaster, systemic incompetence, and endless broken promises of DJI Customer Support. This is not a single isolated issue; it is a months-long pattern of failing a loyal customer living in Gran Canaria.
My nightmare began when I ordered a drone from DJI. It arrived completely broken and dead on arrival (DOA). Instead of a quick and simple replacement, I had to fight their support through massive shipping and delivery failures just to get the replacement drone delivered to the Canary Islands.
Now, history is repeating itself in an even worse way. Since May 8th, I have been trapped in a loop of logistics failures, system bugs, and outright lies from agents while trying to buy a DJI Mic 2. Look at my account history—I have been forced to initiate FIVE different orders for a single microphone because DJI's internal system and staff are completely incapable of managing shipping to Gran Canaria and keep hitting battery/logistics blocks:
Order 0345100178442: Current order (91.85 €) stuck as 'The warehouse is processing the order'—now they suddenly claim it is out of stock.
Order 0341448011288: Closed by DJI (69.85 €).
Order 0348840241011: Incorrectly generated order by their broken system (127.00 €).
Order 034018251943: Closed by DJI (74.85 €).
Order 0341541061883: Closed by DJI (59.00 €).
My money is currently completely locked into a pending Klarna invoice for an item they refuse to ship.
The staff handling my case (Latest Case ID: CAS-32797639-N6C6B4) have shown a shocking lack of accountability:
Manager Marvin (Customer Care Manager): The root cause of this ongoing disaster. He has repeatedly blocked real solutions, completely ignored the specific Canary Island shipping bugs, and provided nothing but copy-paste rejection templates for weeks, just like he did during the drone delivery mess.
Agent Diana: In my latest chat session, she tried every dirty trick to get rid of me. She tried to force me out of the chat by promising an email from the same useless manager, Marvin. When I explicitly refused and demanded a senior manager with the authority to manually upgrade my order to the available 2TX+1RX combo to honor my price, she claimed she couldn't guarantee another manager. Finally, she tried to buy my silence with a cheap 20 € DJI credit and a generic promise of a phone call within 4-6 hours just to close the chat log.
DJI support staff do not understand their own systems, they do not care about paying customers, and they prefer to stall you with scripts rather than fix their own errors.
I explicitly refuse to deal with Marvin again. I demand that a Senior Director or Upper Management steps in immediately, takes ownership of case CAS-32797639-N6C6B4, honors my original price agreement, corrects my locked Klarna invoice, and manually fulfills my order with the available DJI Mic 2 combo pack (with the charging case) at no extra cost.
Unbelievably poor service from a multi-billion dollar company. Avoid dealing with their support at all costs.

Updated 20260526. The ultimate DJI nightmare: 5 mic orders, a broken drone, and endless support lies. Updated.. From broken drones to fake stock…
UPDATE:
"I am updating this because my interaction with Customer Care Manager, Marvin, has been an absolute joke. Marvin has shown a complete lack of ability to actually resolve this issue and has handled the situation terribly. In his latest responses, he completely ignored my professional counter-proposals and the fact that DJI’s system accepted my money despite me explicitly selecting Gran Canaria, Spain, as my region.
Instead of fixing the automated shipping errors and the broken record of European warehouse restrictions, Marvin's only 'solution' was to ask me to cancel my active order and place yet another one. He expects me to triple-pay and take the financial risk for DJI's incompetence while they hold my funds hostage. When I called him out on this, he simply gave up, sent a copy-paste apology, and walked away from the discussion.
I have now officially taken this case forward to be reviewed at a higher executive level. I demand that DJI Global Management or a Senior European Executive overrides Marvin’s local failures and audits Case Number: CAS-32797639-N6C6B4 immediately. My order remains open and active.
I am updating this to warn potential buyers about the absolute nightmare and broken practices of DJI Support. For a global multi-billion dollar tech giant, their internal systems, logistics competence, and customer care are deeply broken.
My history with DJI started with a replacement drone that was supposed to be fully refurbished and tested, but suffered a catastrophic hardware failure and crashed instantly within 1 second of takeoff without me even touching the controls. That was followed by months of customs chaos.
Now, I have spent weeks dealing with a microphone order mess since May 8th. Despite explicitly selecting my correct region as Gran Canaria, Spain, in the official DJI Store app, their system accepted my money but their management failed to handle the shipping logistics—completely missing the fact that DJI cannot legally ship equipment with batteries to my location from their European warehouse.
To make matters worse, DJI is actively running localized promotional advertisements in the app to customers in Gran Canaria for items they legally cannot deliver here. When their system glitched, their support team's only 'solution' was to demand that I cancel my current open order and place yet another new one. Expecting a customer to triple-pay and take the financial risk for DJI's internal incompetence and locked vouchers just to fix a mistake made by DJI is completely unacceptable. I will not pay a third time because your automated store and logistics are broken.
I demand that DJI Global Management or a Senior European Executive audits my active case history under Case Number: CAS-32797639-N6C6B4, overrides these local failures, and contacts me directly with a real solution. Look up my case and reach out.
From broken drones to fake stock levels: My experience with DJI Support
I am writing this to share my deep frustration with DJI’s customer service and logistical failures. After being a loyal customer, I have officially reached my limit.
My history with DJI has been a series of disappointments:
Broken on Arrival: I previously ordered a drone that arrived defective.
Shipping & Customs Nightmare: The replacement process took weeks due to DJI’s own documentation errors at customs and further failures by their transport partners.
Tax Overcharges: As a resident of Gran Canaria, I should be charged 7% IGIC. Instead, DJI has repeatedly charged me 21% Spanish VAT and has failed to refund the difference despite being notified.
Fake Stock Levels: Most recently, I tried to buy the DJI Mic 2. I was told the single mic was in stock—it wasn't. Support then assured me the 2-mic version was in stock. I ordered it, only to be told days later that it was also sold out.
DJI has held my funds for multiple orders while providing incorrect information. When I escalated this to a 'Customer Care Manager' named Marvin, I was offered a measly 10 EUR credit—an insult considering I’ve been overcharged in tax and the weeks of time I’ve lost.
When I proposed a fair solution—to ship a comparable in-stock item—I was met with a generic 'I understand your frustration' script and a refusal to help.
Result: I have cancelled my order and DJI has lost a long-term client.
To other buyers: Be careful. DJI’s website does not reflect real stock levels, and if you live in a region with specific tax laws like the Canary Islands, they will likely overcharge you and refuse to make it right.
You have had all your chances. You have lost me as a client.
