MARPAC machines are 100% THE BEST!!
I have used Marpac machines for 40 years. I have traveled the world, to 97 countries, many of them dozens of times, and I have NEVER been without one of the machines. They go with me everywhere. My children grew up with them as well. They are the only machines with the purest of white noise that is loud enough to make a difference. It is the only way to block out noise and get the perfect night's sleep. I am an attorney residing in NYC, and I say it as it is.
