The Data Recovery Wizard does not work…
The Data Recovery Wizard does not work as expected. Instead of recovering the correct files, even with almost 2 hours of technical support from EaseUS, the software can only recover the raw files without any structure of location and file names. Among thousands of the recovered files without previous file names, there is no way the users can screen through these mostly garbage files to identify the few files intended to recover. It is even more difficult and time consuming than looking for a needle in haystack! After hours of efforts, I finally gave up and leave alone those raw files. **********Reply to EaseUS' reply: Regarding EaseUS' reply on screening the Raw files on Date: As the original file locations and names cannot be recovered, the suggestion of filtering the Raw files on the originally created date is not possible. That is not practical at all to go through the thousands of Raw files with only generic file names such as FILE001.MP4 ... FILE2607.MP4, trying to figure out which one is the one you really want to recover while having no original file name and date present. Again, the option of filtering with original created date as EaseUS suggested is not possible. The date column now only shows the current scan date, but not the original created date of the lost files.
