Avoid this company!!
We are travelling in Asia now for a while and this was really the worst bus experience we ever had! We booked a ticket by Virak Buntham from Sihanoukville to Ko Chang. They said that first we go to the border of Cambodia/Thailand with a big bus, and after the border we have to switch to a minivan which will bring us to the ferry. Well ok, sounds good. But.. in total we had 6 (!) different cars! First one big bus to the border. There they just drop us and told us to ‘hurry hurry’. We’ve waited a long time at the border because there was a really long row. People from the company where already at the other side, so don’t expect any help. The only thing one guy came tell us was that we have to hurry because the bus want to leave. Uh ok.. maybe you should just wait for all your passengers? We can not help the fact that they are super slow at the border! When we finally where ready at the border we searched for the right bus. After a few minutes we found one, but they told us that it goes to Bangkok. After 1 hour waiting we could finally leave to Ko Chang.. After that we switched in total 4 times to another bus!! So bad.. At the ferry they just dropped us with the message that we have to wait 1 hour for the last ferry.. so at the office they told us we’ll arrive at Ko Chang at 6 pm, but in fact we arrived at 10 pm. So the journey takes 14 hours instead of 10.. Please avoid this company.. it’s really really bad!
