Qidi Q2 started off well
The Qidi Q2 started out promising, but recent firmware updates have significantly reduced its quality. Features have been removed, unnecessary bloat has been added, CPU usage has increased, and the base fan noise after the latest update is noticeably worse. I cannot recommend buying a Qidi printer. They are effectively using production users as testers for unstable firmware that introduces slowdowns, bugs, and performance issues. Customer support is also poor, providing only basic responses and repeatedly asking users to perform the same steps without offering meaningful solutions. Edit after Rep update I’ve contacted QIDI support, but the experience has been extremely poor. I ask three or four basic questions and then they fail to answer anything I’ve raised, responding only with generic, unhelpful replies. Their support address also appears to be unstable, as their replies often bounce back with errors.At this point, given the lack of meaningful response or resolution, I may have to escalate the matter through consumer affairs.
