This is the worse company I have ever has the mis pleasure of dealing with
This is, without doubt, the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a Kraken/Octopus-shaped decanter as a gift in the middle of May. From the website, I assumed this was a UK-based company and expected delivery within a few days. After waiting around two weeks, I contacted customer services for an update. They provided tracking information claiming the parcel had been dispatched from Nevada, USA, but had been delayed. At that point I asked for a refund, as it appeared the item hadn't actually been shipped. I was told this wasn't possible because the parcel was already in transit. I accepted that explanation because the gift wasn't needed until the middle of June, so I thought it would still arrive in time. Over the following weeks I continued chasing for updates and was repeatedly fobbed off with vague responses and promises. Then, after another month, they suddenly supplied completely different tracking information. This new tracking showed the order had only been placed in Wuhan, China in July—around six weeks after I had originally placed my order. That meant all of the previous tracking information and communications about the parcel being shipped from Nevada were simply false. In the middle of July I received a notification from Hishinylady saying the parcel had been delivered—two days after the courier claimed it had been left. The courier never contacted me, left no calling card and gave no indication of where the parcel had supposedly been delivered. I searched around my property, checked with all of my neighbours and confirmed that nobody had accepted a parcel for me. From that point onwards I was simply sent round in circles. The company insisted the parcel had been delivered and claimed their responsibility had ended. They told me it was my responsibility to contact the courier, despite only providing tracking through a third-party tracking website rather than identifying the actual courier who supposedly delivered the parcel. When I asked for proof of delivery, they either refused to provide it or repeatedly avoided answering the question. They also refused to issue a refund because they claimed they had fulfilled their obligations. Throughout the entire process they had already taken payment upfront, provided false tracking information, refused my refund request when the item had clearly not been dispatched, and then attempted to pass responsibility onto me once the parcel failed to arrive. I have never experienced customer service this poor. The whole process has been frustrating, misleading and incredibly time-consuming. My advice is simple: avoid this company completely. If something goes wrong with your order, don't expect honest communication, meaningful support or a straightforward resolution. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.
