Most horrible toll system ever
OK, so Malaysia uses this "Touch'n go" card system for toll payments. *EXCEPT* you cannot find the cards anywhere! If you come as a tourist, with a rental car, your only option is to pay cash at the tolls (yeah, they don't accept credit cards either, go figure...) which is an absolute nightmare since you need to find which booth has an agent (it's not written clearly, so you just have to try one of them and then get out of the car to try to find one). I thought there was some light with the "Touch'n go e-wallet" which I thought would allow me to pay using my smartphone, to install it you need a local number(sic), so I got one, then installed the app, went through a ridiculous KYC process... and the app asks me to scan a touch'n go card, which cannot be found anywhere! This system is an absolute, complete joke, and is a disgrace to what is otherwise a very nice country.
