The real question is do you have a Sweet gum tree? And I mean one of those 100 year old suckers. Beautiful great tree, except it assaults you with 1000s of "space bugs", "ankle twisters", "balls of profanity" each winter? $500 bucks... Yeah it's a lot of money, where are you going to get it from? How about selling something you need a lot less than one of these whirligigs of sweet gum ball destruction. Kidney's, you have two of them. Certainly the second is less useful than this. I'm sure it'll pull at least $500 on the black market. Trust me, you won't regret it. After hours/days of raking sweet gum balls, "mowing" them with a bag-a-nut collector is one of the most satisfying yard chores I do. It grabs them through thick grass, open areas, everywhere it's not embedded into the ground. This is the best $500 I've spent, and well worth those stitches in my side.
