CHUWI CoreBook Xe

On 20 April 2021, I order and pay US $599 for a 15.6-inch Intel CoreBook Xe i5 | Intel iRIS Xe Max DG1 graphics | 8GB+512GB. At the end of May I receive an email from CHUWI saying that they need another 2 weeks to perfect the product, especially the graphics card, because they care about quality and want the best for their customers. After another 2 weeks, I receive another email from CHUWI asking for another 2 weeks, as their supplier was not able to guarantee what was needed on time. For those who don't want to wait, CHUWI offers the possibility of purchasing an alternative laptop, ready for delivery, but much lower in technical specifications and cheaper. After a further 2 weeks, CHUWI cancels the order because it cannot fulfil it and refunds those paid in April. Since I live in the European Union, where there is a currency called "Euro", and which is not exactly wastepaper, at the exchange rate with the US dollar, there were 519 Euros leaving my account on 29 April and 490 Euros entering my account on 25 June. So I lost almost 30 Euros, according to CHUWI, because of the exchange rate imposed by the bank. If you think you are a good company and you launch a seemingly quality product at a good price, even if it is on pre-order, you should make sure you have all the components in place and the software to fulfil the orders on time. If you sell in Europe and think you are a good company, you should consider not the US dollar, but the Euro. If you care about customer satisfaction, you should think about how to satisfy them and not disappoint them or worse still make them lose money. Product not assessable because I simply never received it, but CHUWI's reliability and service are perfectly assessable: very bad.
