I am extremely disappointed with Live auctioneers. I purchased a painting for $585.00 from one of their auction houses in February, 2026 and never received my painting. Live Auctioneers must not have done any research on OAB auctions. OAB auction house is currently listed as closed on the internet. I asked for help from Live Auctioneers when I did not receive my painting. Although they contacted OAB auction House on several occasions, I never received my painting. It was my understanding that Live Auctioneers only dealt with reputable auction houses. Obviously, that is not the case. I asked Live Auctioneers to reimburse me for my purchase through their purchase protection plan, but they responded that my case did not fall within the scope of their plan. I trusted Live Auctioneers to connect me with a reputable auction house. That was a big mistake! I no longer trust Live Auctioneers. Why would I? I was told by Live Auctioneers to check with my bank for compensation, but my bank will not compensate me because my payment was made through Live Auctioneers! It is a catch 22. I am a new business, and I am out $585.00 because I made the mistake of trusting Live Auctioneers. Laura King
