From hot deal to more expensive deal…
I booked a lot of rooms with Agoda before, but now things got a bit weird. Agoda promotes a room with their hot deal weeks, and I know the price is normally much higher for this place. So it looks like a really good deal and booked. I do understand some extra cost will be added at the end, still fair. Promo price is in Euro (my currency) but when I confirmed it changed back to the local currency of the country. At the end I paid even more because their exchange rate is far below the real exchange rate. So from a good hot deal to a more expensive room. Whole hot deal is just fake!
